'Tit Hill' I cursed it many times. Still, that's in the past now.

I don't think it had a name, wasn't high enough!

Ian, only yesterday I was reading about it in Barry Heard's book Well Done, Those Men. But took it back to the library about three hours ago! Very good book about Heard's training, his service and his subsequent health problems.
Most interesting as I was there at the same time as an AAP-Reuters correspondent.

Looking at the map now, the only hill with a trig point (PSM 523.237) is Mt Certainty, which would be Tit hill and were(sp) the 25 metre ranges were located. There is another, Buckley Hill which is one grid square due East of Mt Certainty.

Bruces wanted to know the name of the hill between the school of Armour and 1 AR, now the school of Artillary, and that is Mt Disappointment

Blimey you blokes have good memories.

I spent time at 'S' Block in 64-65 (then went of to do a stint at Kapooka) and later back to Tobruck Barracks in 70-73. I'm flat out remembering any of the topology. Must be the CRAFT disease.
