Hi all im trying to get some advice on the best maps (4wd tracks marked) to load into OziExplorer for a Flinders trip. I have the 1:25k maps for NSW and VIC but nothing for SA. Any advice on which are the best electronic topo scaled maps to buy would be appreciated. cheers Aaron

Hi Aaron
There are a few ways that you can go. You could get the Hema Flinders map which has all the main features that you require, or for the most detailed may by far, you can get the
Flinders Ranges 1:50,000 topo map which is on a scale as if you were bush walking. This map has everything.
Cheers

Hi
Commercial digital versions of the 50K maps are a tad expensive...
GPSOZMelbourne Map Shop
No idea if they have the tracks you want either as they are Topo maps ..not road/track maps. Maybe someone who has actually been there and used them can provide advice on that matter.

Hi Greg
The 1:50,000 topo Flinders Map that I am talking about is produced by the Department for Environment and
Heritage. They have all roads, buildings etc and are the perfect map for the most detailed information on an area that you are visiting. There are 7 map areas for South Australia, of which I have all the sets, but like you said they are not cheap. Each map set sells for around the $150 mark.
Cheers

Yes - the links I posted are for these same maps, which I also have. Price is $179 per CD, which for the
Flinders Ranges set (62 Maps) comes out at about $2.89 per map.
