The Todd has been running for a few days. It broke its banks yesterday and I reckon the shower we just had will pick it up again....Ill find out in a minute when my Mrs gets back.
And the boat race will start daughter and I are going to take the canoe out for a paddle if its still flowing enough...LOL

Its great to see it flow once more before we go!

From the BOM Site they have had over 5 inches of rain in the last week, I'd say the Todd would be running pretty well by now, the Finke as well.

Hi Hairy, That's great, we used to live & work on cattle stations out from The Alice. It was our main shopping etc. That's about 30yrs. ago. We still miss it terribly & always try to get back for our holz. and still get soooo excited to hear this news. Then once again we wish we coul d be there! We both have ill health so going back to live there wouldn't be wise. Enjoy! Take care . Safe travels. Bye. Sally

Great to here the Todd River is flowing, we have been to Alice Springs several times but always in mid year or September so it has been dry.
i wish i could see it, must be so different to see Central Australia wet.
Alice Springs is one of our favourite towns to visit, so much to see and do and beautiful scenery everywhere.

Cheers Tina
