For those interested I managed to get my Navman MY55T working with Oziexplorer CE and it's great.

Now I have my turn by turn directions and also live traffic updates for city driving and I have my off road maps all on the same unit.

The Navman unit is just like a mini laptop now that I have full access to Windows CE

Hi Good stuff
So how did you do it?
Miopocket/Miopocket Lite or some other way?
Any tips or tricks?
Cheers
Greg

Yep,

Extra great idea. Got my S80 running yesterday, and Oziexplorer CE works a treat.

Have mine running off the CD Card, so can revert to ordinary Navman anytime.

Now need Ozi Ex maps, but would rather not have to pay for them. Does anybody know as good source for most of Aus? Need roads and tracks.

Regards
Mike

Mike,

I found that you don't even need to take out the card to boot your normal navman maps just create a shortcut for it pointing to the navman maps and away you go

You best fork out the money and get some proper maps you won't regret it. I have the Hama 4x4 DVD collection

Some NSW and Vic maps here

OziE Map download Links

You can download individual 250 K map sheets for all of Australia from the Geoscience Australia website. They are in ecw format and can be imported into OziE with caibration easily though downloading them all may prove tedious. Trolls suggestion maybe be better in the long run. The 250K maps are included on the Hema DVD collection.

Cheers

Hi Troll 81.

My son played with my S80 & now I can use Ozi & tom tom.

The only trouble the grand kids have found out that they can play games on it now LOL.

Cheers.
