Hi Guys,
Can any one tell me where the antenna for the inbuilt GPS system is on my Toyota t/d Sahara?
Reason is, I want to get a roof rack and don't wish to bugger up the reception.
Thanks

Look for an innocuous plastic patch somewhere on the top of the vehicle, maybe near one front corner. Doubt if it's built into the windscreen glass - too complex.

I have installed a factory satnav system in one of them flash Magna's( GTV i think). It used one of the square flat aerials about 1 1/2 inch square, and it was mounted on a bracket up under the dash so that it was about an inch from the top surface of the dash, with only some thin foam and vinyl between it and the sky (and windscreen of course). it certainly worked
well so there is a chance yours may be in the same spot. If your sahara doesn't have a small 'fixture' antenna on the roof then a rack shouldn't be a prob. BradLife is short- but there's always time for a yarda.
