Hi all,
Looking for some advice on the best location to place my Waeco 40l fridge inside the front pod of the KK Sports RV. There are numerous ties and angles but I just can't get the best fit in terms of location, easy access and secure tie down without sliding. Any tips?

Have you tried mounting the fridge the way that KK show in all their pictures, albeit an Engel one?....link to picture:

Hi Andrew,
I'm quite certain that is the place it's meant to go but personally I reckon it's too far away and anyone shorter than 6ft wouldn't be able to reach inside properly. And then there's the issue of getting totally covered in dust as you have to lean against the pod to get to it.

I guess it's one of the limitations of these tub style containers. I still like my slide-out gullwing design. :)
A quick wipe over the pod with an old rag would fix the latter problem.

I don't have a sports RV, but I find it easier to have the fridge in the back of the 4x4.....and if I'm unhooked from the trailer, I run an extension cable to either the anderson plug on the CT or to one of the narva sockets on the side of the KK..
Have it parked almost under the front annex, so just as easy to get at...

I also have a KK sports rv and 40lt waeco ..have the fridge with opening towards front of pod just back enough to drop in fold up oztent goanna chairs and other "stuff" between front of pod and fridge...plenty of room either side & behind for the rest of the "stuff"..I dont worry about tying it down; all the bits & pieces stop any movement..easy to get to but a small fold up stool x ARB makes it easier for those with short pins..hope this is of help. hooroo
