Hello

We are travelling around Australia in a Jayco Sterling (not outback) and I am worried about stones hitting the caravan. What do people suggest to protect it? We will mainly be staying on the tar but occassionaly go on dirt roads.

Look forward to hearing the suggestions.

Kind regards
Ronnie

Greetings Ronnie, We have:1. ROCK Tamers- large rubber flaps ( like large mus flaps- lok on the net) on the back of the tow vehicle.2. Green Shade cloth on a metal frame at about 40 degrees on the front of the van (seen on most off road vans)3. anothe strip of Shade cloth on flexible rubber connectore nearly horizontal to the gound from the rear bumper to the top of the first metal frame shade cloth holder.4.Most important, travel slower than you think on gravel roads, to reduce the velocity of those larger killer rocks that lie in wait for van front and tow vehicle rear windows.
Good luck. Warwick
