i have had my struts & seal replaced on 1990 Jayco Classique Single Axle Pop Top 14ft Van. the problem now is the roof has bowed and is very difficult to pull down so much so i am pulling the handles out of the roof. the new struts are 330N Jayco Part No. JAC5702 which are different to the original. they have left the old brackets on and fitted new brackets which are not in alignment with the old ones.

Would this be the problem with the bowing of the roof or are the 330N struts too strong???????

hi sallyanne
sounds like the usual where a female is the owner they have taken you for granted which i dont like or endorse
you've had an el-cheapo slacko repair job done take it back and demand they replace struts with original equivilant and put them in line or take it somewhere else but dont except what they've done

too much pressure in the struts will stress everything
cheers
