Sir Kev & Darkie
I see the member count is currently 2199, I don't recall seeing this high before.
I haven't looked at which state is leading the
Membership numbers as yet, nor how many Lifetime members there are either.
Looks like the
Forum is going to stay healthy for awhile yet ;)
Cheers Kev

When these figures are converted with
population figures from the ABS website the real situation becomes apparent:
WA wins yet again with 1 in every 4821 people being a member of Exploroz
NT 1 in every 5333
ACT 1 in every 6750
SA 1 in every 9950
QLD 1 in every 10318
VIC 1 in every 12195
NSW 1 in every 13573
TAS 1 in every 14342
Cheers

Hi Kev, I was wondering about this the other day - it seems over the past few weeks there have been quite a number of threads starting with words like "This is my first time posting..." so it seems there are a few members/visitors joining up. No doubt there are others that move on though and I began wondering what the overall numbers were doing.
Imagine your task of organising the gathering if half those members decided to come along! :-)
Ps. I like your signature line - the same could be said for a lot of things.

We are being told that the economy has faired very
well during the recession and this may be the case. Its amazing what some boffins can do with numbers.
I do, however, feel that a large chunk of the Australian
population are still struggling and many are yet to see worse times before any improvement.
I feel that the increase in members and visitors is due, in part, to more deciding to holiday in Australia rather than the expence of overseas travel.
Cheers......Lionel.

I wonder if being in Partnership with Mr 4x4 had anything to do with the increase in publicity of EO??

Hi Sir Kev,
Maybe the increase is because a new "tolerance" has been achieved. There is a fair bit of banter on this post alone.
I resigned my
membership, despite the fact that I was a "good boy"when the moderation became IMHO "extreme" and stayed away for over a year and used other sites.
Then I had a question that mega needed an answer so I asked the forumite crew. By
clearing the cookies I re-registered as a visitor.
I again find forumites invaluable in their freely giving time to spread their knowledge to a point where on our return from 2 OS celebratory holidays I will rejoin as long as I can have my old call
sign back.

Hi Benny,
Just wanted to let you know that when you join up again, all you need to do is purchase a
Membership Personal - Renewal ($40) from the online
shop, and I'll find your previous member profile and re-instate it (if you can remember your old member # put it in the comments field of your order), this offer applies to anyone who has had a
membership that's expired and wants to re-instate it.
Regards,
Adele Scala (Online
