Where are you trying to adjust it? at the drum or at the handbrake handle?

Go to www.lcool.org which is landcruiser owners on line and go to 100 series page. There they have a detailed description of how to do it. Even when you do get it adjusted it won't last long as
mine goes out of adjustment usually within a month. These handbrakes are next to useless it's just something you have to put up with. But I still love my 105 series.

Strange that, I have owned our cruiser for 5yrs now and adjusted the handbrake twice.
I do it the LCOOL way but only wind the clicker a couple of clicks back from lock up.It works great, alway has.

Time to buy a manual which will detail how to do it.
Or find a decent mechanic. You know mechanics that can't adjust a LandCrusier handbrakes?
Replacing stuff in the hope that that would adjust the handbrake???
