Outnabout..
Thought I would replace the batteries in the two zone remote temperature guage for this weekends trip. Was reading fine but a bit dim. Now with the new batteries the time and ambient both appear but not the fridge temp. Replaced the batteries in the fridge unit as
well. Can't for the life of me find the instructions.
Is there something I haven't done or has it conveniently decided to pack up because I want to use it?
David

Type of Fridge? Engel I am presuming by virtue of the two zone. Hope I'm not being over simplistic but was the fridge monitor battery placed in with the right polarity (up the right way)?

No, it probably is ok. You need to take the batteries out of one of the guages (I can't remember which one) and then put them back in and the 2 units will start communicating with each other. I bought a second hand one recently and had the same problem until I sorted it out!

Hi David
From memory you put the batteries in the sender unit first, then the receiver next. It is the exact opposite to the new Engel Remote digital thermometers where you have to put the batteries in the receiver first, and the sender last.
Give that a go.
Cheers
Stephen

Thanks guys.
Had to get the sequence right in replacing them. Did the sender first then the remote and after a few seconds everything worked.
Thanks again. No the stubbies will be at the right temperature!

I went to use my Twozone Wireless Fridge Thermometer & Clock the other day and the sender is dead as.
The receiver shows the air temp and the time, but no sender temp.
Batteries are in the right way and put in the right sequence.
Worked fine late last year.My 2 way fridge was playing up and it was great to keep an eye on the temp while traveling and while camped. I Don't leave the batteries in it when it's not in use.
It's only 6 months old, I guess I'll take it back to the retailer.
A handy little bit of gear. :)
