Just looking for the best caravan park overnight before a early morning flight out. Near of course Avalon airport Victoria.

Never seen it - never been here but this one
Is only 10 minutes drive away - close to Geelong .

Gave them a ring and they are $48 a night for a powered site. I said I was a Kedron and did not need a powered site but could do with a non powered.

Don't have them. $48 is the lowest price. Crikey, I thought and booked into the Big 4 at $22.5

This is the first time a Top Tourist park has been exactly double a Big 4.

If you are 'set up' to free camp why not do just that and not worry about what caravan parks charge to cover THEIR operating costs etc.

I always assumed however that a caravan park is a business and as such, charges to make a nett profit, not to cover THEIR expenses. I however might be wrong.
