Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a workshop in
Perth (preferably north of river) who can lift my tray and modify the rear cross beam so I can fit a spare wheel and tyre underneath?

I will be getting a roof rack but a roof rack can only fit one wheel up-top unfortunately.
Thanks
Alan

I have had 5 work utes fitted out by them over the years, maybe not the cheapest but do good work.

That's not a bad idea - I can visualize in my mind bags of money flying off into the air :)
This is one occasion I wouldn't mind splitties, won't need to raise the back so much..

Cage be hide cab is a better idea to me, under the tray the wheels get covered in mud and crap, so when you need them they are hard to get out and look crap. you can get the ones be hide the cab with drop down ramp for easy loading and unloading. plus you can see the wheels easier to
check the tyre pressure etc. thats my opioin only.

Hi Allan
This mob is not north of the river but do do an excellent job...and
well worth a
check out
I had my cruiser tray work done there and noticied a lot of mining vehicle fit outs as
well as cruisers being chopped up and lazy axles added, dual cab conversions etc all under way...made me cringe to see the latest cruiser 200 series chopped in half...but the end result was factory finish quality.....
in fact whilst I was there checking my vehicle out an opposition firm employee had his vehicle in there for the chop....you work that out

The works been done, and the results look good.

The tray stands a bit higher and the spare fuel tank is a bit lower.

The rear 2 beams has been removed however the corners have been held in place

I reckon the number plate in its new position would last about five minutes off-road.
I also got them to stick on a cab rack mount (for when somebody eventually sells me some more rims)

I'm happy with the result, costing just slightly more than a grand.
Cheers
