The fridge is an earlier model waeco 80
While I was a sleep the other night someone else went into my fridge to get out the evening meal.
I hadnt looked at the fridge until today as I left the next morning and arrived home yesterday.
When I went out to inspect it today it was not running. I turned it on and it started straight away but only one of the green lights was on ,Ive had it on 4 lights for the past week as it seems to be the best all round setting.
The only light that will come on is second from the left and the button that adjusts the temperature feels different, like its been pressed too hard.
Nor does it seem to do anything.
I have it on to see if its cycling but I have no way of telling what setting its on
On/off and turbo buttons are still working normally
As you can imagine ,Im not too happy, what food that was in the fridge has now spoiled and the control panel needs fixing.
Anyone have any tips or am I up for a repair bill?

G'day
Ross
I have the waeco CF 50 and the control panel on it was playing up a while ago,If you pressed the button to up the temperature, the light would just continue running on, you would have to continuously keep pressing the button to get it to stop, i took it to the local waeco repairer and he pulled the panel apart cleaned it up and put a new display (only a sticker ) on all for $60.00....
Cheers......Dave

May be easier to just buy a fridge thermometer. The Waeco ones which give inside fridge and outside temp plus alarms etc only cost about $25. You can then make sure it is keeping to the right temp.
(I'm assuming that the control panel is still working just not displaying.)

Thanks ,but I would rather have it working as it should.
The button that controls the temp setting appears to have been pushed too hard and I think it is stuck on one temp.
I had look before and it is cycling on/off
