It should be a interesting outcome that cyclone Olga will bring to the rivers in central SA
With all the creeks along the
Birdsville track just running from local rain and still large water holes and a flush from the Derwent Creek through the
Warburton with already 4.1m at
Bedourie and a heap of rain proably coming down from the Alice already heading to the Muccumba but not there yet. And about 4m heading down the Cooper. Should be fun to watch another river event, keep my fingers crossed

Like last year the local rain that fell in SA will have all dryed up long before anything starts flowing down the rivers. While a good start there will need to be significant followup falls to reach Lake Eyre. Doesn't appear to be anywhere near last years flows just yet.

I hope not but the dunes do look odd they are like the rolling hills of Scotland.
They tell me today it rained in
Birdsville yesterday and their creeks are full but it's nice and hot so Olga needs to dump soon. I was hoping to see the Cooper run this year even if doesn't get to the Lake it's good for the country to get a drink.
