G'day,
I have read lots of posts on using Penetrol, so i went to the Bunnings, and found two different Penetrol cans.
One is Penetrol Rust Treatment and one is ESP easy surface prep Penetrol .
I am guessing others went for the rust treatment not ESP? Am i right?
Cheers
N

It depends on what you are doing :-)
The ESP is magic if you are painting a surface that is less than perfect.
I have used it many times it also slows or stops rust.
Both products are good just choose the one for the job !

The rust one will work
well for that
Try the paint one if you have problems getting a smooth finish with oil based paint.
An undercoat of ESP and a small amount in the paint helps it to flow evenly over surfaces and adheres to surfaces much better than just ordinary paint.
