compressor fridge at Bunnings

I was at Bunnings today and they had 38 litre compressor fridges for about $650.
I forget the name but they had Gasmate written on the box somewhere in small print.
They had 12/24 and 240 volt plug inlets. Nice kind of plastic shell, controls looked a little cheesy though.

Anyone have one or know anything about them. Im not buying ,just curious.
Might be just the thing for budget conscious for occasional use

Sounds like the one that Repco inadvertantly advertized with an Engel label then pulled as per a thread I posted couple of months ago.

If so I expect it would work well for the price.

Robin

The Repco was 60 L and the controls are OK.

Gasmate do make a larger 3 way just that you rarely see them (42 and 50 litre). I have the 35 litre and it struggles in hot weather on 240V. Worthless on 12V but bloody good on gas. Like any cheap 3 way really.

I'm sure with a little persuasion I can manufacture an excuse to the Mrs for the need to go to Bunnings to check them out - I'll report back here with my findings if you like :-)

If you want but you'll just be standing there looking at them like I was.
These are not 3 way.

Now if its the same as this Gasmate with a Danfoss compressor ,it could be a winner for the price
