Copilot users - CP8 is available

Hi,
Just to let people know you can download CP8 for Australia from the ALK site. It has fixed a few mapping problems I had from CP6 and looks flash. I ahve not doen a lot of testing yet but seems OK.

I have a PDA and run both Oziexplorer and CP on it. I was running V6 but it had become very dated and there were lots of maps out of synch,

I started looking for an upgrade but the cost of Hema Navigator or VMS was a bit to much when i had a good set up already - apart from the older version of CP. I have also read that R66 on Hema is not that good.

So I was happy to see CP 8 released for the PDA for Australia. It costs about 34 pound for an upgrade. This works out a lot better for me than buying a new unit.

Rob,
You will find there is no text to speech and it is PDA only.

When I got v6 text to speech was included and I also got a version to run on my PC. I am trying to see if I can get one but not holding my breadth.

I liked the text to speech but can live with out it.

For the price it is not a bad bit of software.
