Can a member go on the trips but invite one of their friends in their van to join in on the occasion.
Is this alowed or are the trips away on a weekend for members only.

well as members........nearly every trip/gathering has a handful of tag alongs join them,cheers.

The more the Merrier I reckon. I think as long as you note it in your attendance all would be good.
If the like the trip they may start to frequent the site.

It's always been a matter of "anyone" is welcome.
With one exception a few years back when some dill posted a gathering stating something along the lines of "The Trip Leader
reserves the right to decide who will or will not participate". Strangely enough he went for a drive on his own LOL.

As stated by the others anyone can register to attend the trip gathering - if they are to register on the site they just need to setup a visitor profile and register to attend the trip.
We ask that people register so that the arranging members know roughly how many vehicles and people are going to attend.
