Has anyone had trouble with these. I have an 80 series and have just come back from a round trip of 4000 ks. Mostley dirt roads and blew the 2 back tyres out. Only did 30000 ks on them. Very dissapointed in them. The tread just blew off at the sidewall, left driving on the rim. I was not on stoney dirt roads just gravel the first time and sandy to hard the secound time.

Yes! I fitted new Falken tyres to my wifes previous vehicle, a Nissan Skyline, a few years ago, at 27,000km they were unroadworthy! Bearing in mind that all her driving is on made roads, & that she is a "mobile chicane" I was less than impressed. After a lot of negotiations I managed to get a 50% credit off new tyres, not Falken!

bmw1.
Yes I had a set of 205 75 16, they all delaminated over a period of months. not overloaded or fast driving just bad tyres. Very interesting legal situation because they only advertised using quotes from drivers, no direct company adds so its hard to sue the company for false advertising. Eric.

I fitted a set of Falkens to my XR8 in late 98. Much better than the Pirelli's originally fitted. Got 60K out of them and found them great, especially in the wet. Obviously never off road, as the XR struggled with speed humps. Only disappointment was that the same same size tyre was not available three years later when I needed to replace them and I had to change to another brand. Back them they were receiving rave reviews in motor mags. MAYBE (I have no idea) things have changed, different country of manufacture (possibly), different components (who knows?), but I was happy with them then and would buy them again.

Regards,

Jim

Same as the last post! My mate had them on his "fully optioned VH vacationer" and he had no trouble at all lasted about 4 or 5 years and they were suppurb in the wet, but no off road work at all. Sound a little strange as i was always were told that they are really good tyres.
