I have the above setup and I am trying to get the moving maps bit of OzeExplorer to work on the Toshi. GPS-oz dont make a lead for the E570 as the plugs are hard to get (nigh on impossible) but I do have a docking station run to a 9pin serial connector, thru a 9-25 pin converter, thru a null modem (as I can't find a 9 pin null modem), thru a 25-9 pin converter and thru the serial connector to the GPS, some cabling eh?

The Toshi will download waypoints, tracks and routes and the GPS says "transfer complete" after the download process, so there appears to be comms, but the moving maps doesnt work. Wazza hooked his up and it worked straight away....Is there something I am missing or not doing. Any ideas?Laterally Literal

http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=NM-D9F-D9M for purchase of null modem
or http://www.loop-back.com/null-mod.html if you are handy with your soldering iron. Should not be too difficult if that is the only problem. Null modem is just a loop pin to pin in a serial cable. Fairly fast too.
