Hi all

Who may be leaving Cairns about July 29 for a trip up to the Cape?

I will be travelling solo for a change. However, I would welcome some others to either travel with or tag along with.

I would like to be back in Cairns about August 18. I will be towing an off road trailer but have no intention of doing the really difficult tracks or crossings.

If there are any others wanting to do similar, I would be interested in hearing from you.

Voxson is heading up there in June as per Members Trips and Gatherings ;)

If that doesn't suit and you don't get any replies from this post maybe create your own Trip/Gathering as it will remain current up to the departure day and others can then contact you with their interest.

We have been here since 1997 and I think the population had doubled in that time. The Lennox area is now over 6000 people and still going. I doubt you would recognise much now as there are very few older cottages left.

My son thought the same. He only has three weeks off. He is getting his car shipped to Cairns and he will fly in on the night of his first day off. We will meet him there. That saved him almost a week. Add a weekend and he will make it.

We are going as a family group. Mum, Dad and two sons in their own cars. Just a nice size mob of three cars.

This is the first of many trips we have waited years to do with the two sons and their family.

Maybe this will give you an idea if time was the problem.
