Hi all,
For those with old effies or Oka's running a cast iron NP205 transfer case, what oil are you running.
Cheers

Unbelievable? No, absolutely TRUE Dave............
Whatever you put in the engine is right for the transfer case.
Those are bullet proof by the way........
Cheers,

Good day Dave, Peter is quite right but i use
Mobil hd 80w90 simply because it handles the heat better when in use in the northern parts of the country and because i have used
Mobil gear oils in trucks i have owned with no real problems when worked hard in extreme conditions and with extended service intervals. Just a personal preference. Good luck with the Tojo build cheers Dave

Thanks for that,
I was told that I could use anything from an 80w to a 140w and was leaning towards the castrol epx 80w 90 that I usually use as it will be going in the izuzu diffs as
well.
Cheers
Dave
