To the Oka owners again,
are your NP205's flipped so the front output is on the drivers side? if so where is your oil level?
I am going to fit it so that all 3 flanges are at the same level and fill so the level is at the bottom of the seal.
The cast iron gear driven NP205's don't have the oil pump that the alloy chain driven NP205's have.
I suspect that most if not all Oka's have a Dana 70 or 80 front end and the pumpkin is on the drivers side, if you have the transfer case front out put on the passenger side what is the angle sideways like?
How are the linkages hooked up? single or twin levers?
Cheers
Dave

On our OKA, the front tailshaft is on the driver's side.
There is a filler hole (1/2" BSP???) low down on the back of the box. When "Full" it only has about 50mm of oil in the bollom (at a guess, will
check later) so the total oil in the box is very small.
Many OKA owners fit a 90 degree bend pipe fitting to that hole and this allows another 50mm of oil to be added.
OKAs used a Dana 60 at the front (70 rear), but it is up-side-down, hence the RH offset.
Single lever.
Cheers,
Peter

By the look of it it is not flipped it might be rotated and have the gears and shafts moved around.
It has a forwad shaft of about 1050mm and an offcentre almost 250mm. So with it on the passenger side it will have to go 500mm. My guess about 22 degrees.

Thanks for your help, I want to get it fitted right first go.
Any pics of linkages and mounts would be great.
Cheers
