Hi All,
Second post for the night, I've just purchsed a secondhand Ti Patrol 1999 model. Compared to my Falcon the head lights are hopeless on low beam. Can better lamps be retrofitted into the existing lights.

dennis, check w\ether you have the plastic or glass headlights.
if you've got the glass, try the Narva Plus 50. they greatly improve output, with no strain on the loom.
if your lights are the plastic one's, i reckomand checking with nissan first to make sure you can put better globes in.

hi dennis, yeah mate, get them from most auto shops....drivers side took a bit longer to change coz of the battery being the way. but they make a big difference.

Not that I think any of you guys are inconsiderate, but in this thread I'd just like to stress the importance of aming your headlights correctly.

I really can't stand foglights and headlights angled too far up because some inconsiderate bastard wants to be able to see a bit more. It's dazzling, bloody dangerous, and all too common at the moment.

Standard headlights angled correctly are more than adequate on my GQ, with 100W driving lights for appropriate situations when more light is necessary. Why do people need any more than this?

....off my soap box now - sorry for the rant, it's just my pet hate being blinded :-(

Cheers,

Luke.

Hi All,
Thanks for the advise, I'll try changing the lamps at this stage. With the existing standard lights the vehicle is very difficult to drive at low beam to the point I seam to be straining my eyesand thats what concerns me.
Thanks again for the replies.
Dennis
