toohey,

This, "a bigger caravan(16800tare)" has to be a typo! 16.8 tonnes is a hell of a caravan!

The Exedy Safari clutches are well regarded by anyone that's used them. See this website for information: Exedy Clutches

What makes you suspect you have clutch problems now?

Grey hair is hereditary, you get it from children. Baldness is caused by watching the Wallabies.

I tow a van that weight and have no reason to think that the clutch would need replacing.Mine has done 160000ks. Perhaps if you are a person who rides the clutch a lot it would be expected, but not if driving normally.

Have just recently change mine after 205000km and used an excedy heavy duty after inspecting the old plate it still had quite a few km left on it.
We are planning a big trip this year and didn't want to take the chance.
We tow a jayco flamingo about 1550 tare.
