Hi all,
this is my first time on a
forum!
I'm so exited that I feel to share my experience with everyone who is looking for 4x4 ATR's. I'f been reading the last two days to decide what tyres to get
and ended up deciding to get what I know! For the last 3 years and 104000Ks
I'm driving the Mickey Thompson FC2. I use them for my cleaning business
as
well as for my off road adventures. Most the time my 98 Pajero is under load
and I'm not very fussy about pressure and rotation. The pressure only gets checked every 10000 Ks at service interval. In all this time I have not had a flat ore lost any rubber parts! The noise on road is nothing!
Be god to know if some one else had the same experience!

I opted for the FC2's last time round. Good road and general AT tyre but I'm afraid I punished them "off track". They take a beating thru the sidewalls. Going to try the Toyo Open Country MT this time.
Cheers Mick

G'day Wolfy1
If you're on a good thing then stick with it!
104000 from a set of tyres is pretty impressive - especially if you're not kind to them.
Just
check that there hasn't been any manufacturing changes - sometimes tyre manufacturers make changes to design, materials, or even where they are made (eg move manufacturing to China or another Asian country) and the new ones can be totally different.
Never had Mickey Ts myself. But never gotten 100000 either!
Cheers from the Moose

Hi Wolfy1,
Had a set on the cruiser a few years ago and they worked very
well. I swapped them over to the camper trailer when I decided to put 285 Mickey T's on the car. They are still going very
well on the trailer, without any problems and have now been down the Canning, the old Gunbarrel and to the Cape via the OTT, plus a bunch of other, shorter runs. No idea how many k's they have done.
Cheers
Gerry
