Hi guys

Hopefully a simple questions with a quick answer ... (but then again)

I'm selling some rims & tyres that have come off my recently purchased Trak Shak. They are King steel rims 16x7 & currently have 265/70R16 tyres on them (not that that will help to work this out). They are 6 stud and Landcruiser/Patrol offset.

I've had an enquiry asking if they will fit a 92 model Hilux surf/4runner.

My quick search of the net hasn't come up with anything definitive. Does anyone have an answer for this one?

Hi,
sometimes the nissan offset will scrape on the front caliper of the hilux. Toyota studs are the same but not the offset. The cruiser offset will fit the hilux.
If you aren't sure, fit to the front tighten the nuts and spin the wheel or take it for a drive and check the inside for scrape marks.

Cheers
Dave

Thanks Dave

I didn't want to say 'Yes' they would fit and they don't, nor say 'No', lose the sale and then find out that they did fit.

cheers

The landcruiser offset should fit the Hilux without any issues, most of the guys on the surf forum run the cruiser rims with the favourites being the 15x8 rims as they widen the stance due to the offset -22offset

The patrol rims also fit, however the issue is the patrol hub centres ane slightly larger so there is more stress on the wheel studs when fitted to the hilux platform.

However the best option as with all forum advice is get down to a tyre dealer and ask them. Just pretend your buyiong new for your car and they will confirm all the info you need.
