Kim and Damn Dog
However the old bloke up in the Heavens never mentioned that you also become more accident prone.
About 12 months ago I purchased a camper trailer, which came with a Travelmate jack. I was a bit surprised because these things aren’t cheap and are certainly heavy.
I went into the garage this afternoon, took it out off the box and, whilst I was looking at it on high, the bloody thing slipped out off my hands and landed on the toes. I was using Aussie safety thongs at the time!
Now I’ve got crunchy toes.
So it’s off to the Doc’s tomorrow morning to get them set.
Regards
Kim

Kim,
I have the same problem as you, I have to wear every sort of protective device at work it makes my head spin.
At
home I become Mister Bean, I have always driven with bare feet, mowed the lawn with flip flops( I do wear boots when using a wipper snipper, but I can be a bit slack when I weld something.
I find drugs work as you don't feel the pain.
Have a undamaged foot free day

Ouch, I can sympathise with you, I have two sore toes which I got whilst working on the
farm in my teens, (now some of you on here would know how long ago that was hehehe), I am probably still having problems with them as there was no DRs visits at the time.
Hope they get better soon.
Cheers

Every thing has a positive. If the jack had missed your toes and hit the floor it might have broken the jack. No medicare for jacks so you saved money.
My toes are throbbing in symphony / sympathy.

Gidday Wilko
Two of them are broken, and a bit swelling. The Doc told me there are 26 bones in that area of the foot.
Somehow I think I agree with him.

Sounds bloody painful Kim, sorry to read of your accident.
I'm probably the only bloke in Australia who doesn't currently own a pair of Aussie Safety Boots. Everyone who knows me takes the piiss because I wear my Blundstones (steel caps) EVERYWHERE I go.......even when I go to the beach!
Oh, I tell a lie; I don't wear 'em to bed and I do have a pair of black sand shoes I wear to my office job. But, anywhere outside or in the shed, it's ALWAYS the Blunnies for me.
