Definitely no LPG in May 09 but buy your ULP there as it's Qld and there's less tax. Considering it's 1600 km to
Brisbane a price of $1.35 is reasonable.
Innamincka was $1.64,
Marree $1.59.
OOdnadatta $1.61, Mt Dare $1.81... Warrie

Since when has there been less TAX??
QLD is now NOT recieving the 8.3c/l tax subsidy thanks to the State Government. It came into effect 1 July 2009 from memory.
Cheers Kev

No they definitely do not sell AutoGas, either at Shell Auto or
Birdsville Fuel (
Mobil). Nearest is
Charleville to the east - unsure about
Quilpie.

Slightly off topic. As someone who has used LPG a lot. I have been told in NT, that buying gas is not such a good deal up north as it expands more in the (generally) above ground storage tanks, especially in hot weather, so that while you may have bought the same volume, the actual bang for your buck is considerably less. Which is a major reason why it is less used up north. Can anyone add info to this?
