Hi all,
Just replaced the cam seals on my fourunner with the genuine toyota seals,
i replaced the timing belt 30000km ago with an after market kit the home mech where i did the job said the seals won't last ok i said whats the diff can't be much i'll just put these in was in a hurry god i wish i had listened and ordered toyota seals for the job.
Just saying if ur going down this road maybe worth going genuine for the hole lot but defently for the seals.
A question but, has anyone with a v6 fourunner 3vzne motor had probs with the fan bearing, not the clutch i rang toyota for this part its a cast housing with bearings for fan quoted $1100 i nearly died i was wondering if the shaft can be pressed out and bearings replaced? GONE WOOP-WOOP
