Have been looking in the Redbook at various 4x4's.
What is the difference between a manual Nissan GQ RX and a manual Nissan GQ DX? I can only a slight difference in weight.

DX is the base model, the RX is a higher spec unit. I think its similar to ST.

Hi Wille.Ive got a RX 4.2 efi.petrol its got the same specs as a ST,also i know the RX deisel comes out in the 2.8 t/d

The DX is the 'fleet' model. The RX was sort of a special thrown together with bits from the ST. Mechanically the same though some DX came with 7.50 x 16 tyres and some with 10r15.

I have the RX model. It comes with carpets, cloth seats and lots of other little refinements, like electric mirrors, electric aerial,white
wheels and extra guages, while the DX has vinyl seats and rubber floor mats. and is just the very basic model.

Mine is the 2.8TD 1997 Has been a great truck and I have taken all over WA from top to bottom several times now with the worst problem a bit of dirty fuel that caused a few anxious moments out in the bush.
