We are visiting Noosa at the weekend and want to visit Freshwater day area,
Rainbow beach, and
Inskip point.
Ideally we want to drive up the Cooloola Way cut across to Freshwater - Bymien then up to
Rainbow - Inskip then on the way
home down the Teewah beach and across the barge back to Noosa.
Any current track info would be appreciated especially the Freshwater track down towards the beach
Thanks guys.

G'day
Both Freshwater and Leisha tracks are in good condition.
Unless you really hate your car, you'll need to do the run from Leisha to
Rainbow at low tide. Theres a fair bit of dead timber to get round on that run, but the lows this weekend will be nice and low.
Was there 9 days ago.
Have fun.

We towed a caravan through Cooloola way about 6 weeks ago. We later found out on the web that the track was supposed to be closed due to flood damage, but there were no signs of flood damage.... I think the website just needed updating.
The track is a bit corrugated but take your time and strap down any loose stuff on your vehicle. I would go that way again tomorrow :), better than bitumen!
