G'day guys and gals
Im about to start the process of sifting through all the insururance companies and was wondering if there were any any people out there around my age that have already been through this process and could let me know their experiencs. I have read most of the posts on insurance but most of you guys are over 25 and this makes it a bit hard to compare to insurance for me, as i am only 19.

Cheers

What car and what mods... Also what state are you in?

Try main stream ones, and then try some brokers.

A good broker can usually come up with reasonable deals for young drivers, depending on their record of course!! It may be usefull enquiring if they give discounts to drivers who have completed an approved driving course.(just a thought) I use a broker in West Melb who saved me $400 a year on my full comp with a top company..I can give you their name if needed, cheers BradLife is short- but there's always time for a yarda.

Ruckus,
I have my Cruiser comprehensively insured with AAMI and have done so since age 23. Had my previous policy with them as well (3rd party/fire/theft).

Car was valued at $29,500 and the premium was about $480. Accessories were covered and the car is covered while off road as long as not engaged in competition etc.

AAMI beat RACQ and Suncorp for me. Happy Shopping

Ruckus, In your search dont forget to include Elders Insurance in the mix. Might just find them competitive too. And just before you jump to any conclusions No I haven't any affinity with them

We just bought our 18 year old son a new Ford Courier dual cab turbo diesel for his birthday. Best insurance deal and terms I could find was Allianz
