Thanks Greendog. Apart from the obvious i.e. they are from a plane, how did you come to get them? I was on the Nappa Merrie Bridge last May and thought that she's flood proof as the water then was 30 feet down, but the level has been less than 10 feet to the road deck for the last week. So it's getting close. It's an incredible contrast, the green summer of 2010 to last years dry conditions. If you've got more pix put 'em on!!... W

G'day Greendog,
Thanks for the pics we are headed this way in May. I drove the causway last year and it was only about 18 inches deep but running fast.

Cheers,
Bill

In the top photo the old police station use to be between the sign and the tree, they were inundated by flood. I think from memory I don't have the book on hand but the floods many moons ago reached the road that sweeps around past that sign. Don't know if that makes sense??
Fantastic to see .Thanks

I have a photo im my gallery crossing the Innamincka causeway in 08.

Great pictures.

The blokes at Moomba are certainly getting wet feet.

Yes, I think I would need a very tall snorkel to do this now.

We had a week at Innamincka in October 2006. When I crossed the causeway where your pic was taken Gone Bush I was lucky to get my tyres wet.

Greendog.

I love the pics. Now I really do have to get out there this year.

Hi Greendog
Great pictures. Just think how green it will be when the water subsides as well as the wild flowers. Just what that country needs, a dam good soaking.

Cheers
