We have an A&E 9000 Rollout awning and we think it is great. Easy to roll out and esay to put away and can all be done from the ground.
Some like Aussie traveller need a step ladder and are not easy to put up or put away. They probably stand wind better.
In this regard we have a Shade wall that slips into the roll out awning and forms a vertical wall full length which is pegged to the ground and this helps brace the roll out in high wind.
Cheers
Alan

Hi
Have had 9000 series Dometic and only way to go with the protector cover. On latest van the could not get 9000 series (should have waited). have 8500 series and both of these have the heavier material in them. The 8300 series have lighter material and I think lighter arms as
well.
Cheers
Charlie

just had one made to measure. 4 days for production and 4 days for delivery to WA. They are very nice awnings, and you support a local business.
good luck
