New Hayman Reece Weight Distribution Hitch

I'm seeking some advice from the collective wisdom of the forum...

I have just signed up to purchase a 23ft triple bunk van (2700kg ATM) for a trip around the eastern half in June with the family. As I haven't had a caravan before I need to get a WDH for my 100series IFS V8 Cruiser. I have heard that Hayman Reece have just released a new type of WDH that is supposedly the bee's knees, but I can't seem to find any info about it.

Does anyone know about these new WDH's and are they really any better than the older cam lock types.

Thanks,

DM

George, thanks for the reply but Dennis is right, that's the old one. However, apparently there is supposed to be some new fangled type just released that is better than the old type. I just can't seem to find any info about it.

I notice in the advert about that hitch (the one in the link), that it has been "computer stress tested".

Thats a worry.....

That is just the Dual Cam sway bar set up. Adds on to the old system to prevent sway from developting. Works well !!

Yes i know but the better version of it comes with the bars shaped to go over

the cam and doesnt need the little bits that bolt onto the straight bars.

Its also a bit hard to find on the page.
