On an archived thread, Davoe had the following:
North from
Southern Cross to
Bullfinch Then take the
Bullfinch Evanston rd to 50j 0732245 6685001 and follow the track west approx to somwhere around (depends where you want to
camp) to 50j 07238404 6690148. He said that these are the lat and long - but I can't figure out what is going on.
Does anyone understand or you able to give me the coordinates?

Hi Rob,
The co-ords don't make sense. There are too many digits in the easting.
If you take the 07238404 to be 723840 the lat / longs will be:
29°53'56"S 119°19'4"E, which is somewhere between Deception
Hill and Yokradine Hills.
Cheers
Alan

Hi Alan
How did you convert from:
07238404 to be 723840 to 29°53'56"S 119°19'4"E ?
