Hi Mike
We have been to the Flinders countless time, they are just so unreal. You will find that the track that you are talking about is purely a hiking track only. The road into and out of Aroona Valley is purely in and out on the same main road. The only side tracks from here lead to camping areas.
I hope that this is what you wanted to hear.
Cheers
Stephen

Hi MrBitchi
Here is my Panorama from the same
hill. Yes there are many
places in the Flinders were the best
views have to be undertake on foot, but
well worth the time and effort.
Cheers

Hi Mike
We were last there and took that photo in Early October 2009.
If you have not been there before, allow lots of time so you can see what the Flinders has on offer.
Cheers
Stephen

Mike, if you intending to visit soon
check with national parks web site,
there is feral cull about to place, and some areas will be closed for a couple of days.

I can't remember which road exactly is Bulls gap rd. But there is only one vehicle road going in and out. It is an easy, graded 2wd dirt road. There are numerous walking trails around the area that are worthwhile. I was up there 2 days ago (and up to Arkaroola) and the rain they've had up there recently has all but gone. It is green and the waterholes are more full than usual though, but the creeks are dry.
