Weather not looking good for our trip with van to Lake Awoonga tomorrow .
Any info on flooding around
Miriam Vale, or general road conditions appreciated.
RACQ advises road open with care south of Endereby.
Thanks
Pedro

Pete,
MM sent.
For anyone else interested, so far the rain has been little more than a few heavy showers and I doubt that the bruce Hwy will be a prob. But if we get a heap of rain overnight, the hwy could be cut in various
places. I'd
check the racq website in the morning before you leave or call the
Miriam Vale Police on 49746000, if they aren't there (and probably won't be before 8am) it will go thru to
Gladstone and they will be able to tell you.
If there is more than about an inch or two in the catchment east of
Miriam Vale tonight, the Fingerboard and Tablelands rds will more than likely have water over them. The creeks are still flowing
well and the ground is saturated so it will all run off.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks for that.
Have decided with the heavy rain and wind forecast for south of Bundy to leave departure until tormorrow.
We had 104mm at
home on
Gold Coast last night.
