Have any of you done an upgrade a 3000cc mitsi to a 3500cc mitsi engine???
Do they slip straight in or are there other mods to do? ie starter motor, injectors and so forth.

Hello Raybates

This topic has been extensively discussed at

http://www.pajeroclub.com.au/forum/

but you may find it cheaper to buy a 3.5L vehicle.

Good luck

The pajero site was probably negative because it isn't a great idea - too many differences to the computer, electrics,l gearbox and clutch. I considered it myself last year and went for a newer car as being more cost effective. If you're a mechanic with all the gear it might be different. An alternative if you just want more go is a Powerchip. They are less than $900 for the 3L now. Check them out at
