Hi, I have an 2004 4x4 Hilux and am considering replacing the shocko's. I am tossing up between RAW shocko's & Old Man Emu nitro sport, but am open to suggestions. I haven't heard of Raw shock absorbers but they appear to be australian from viewing their website. I viewed the archives but couldn't find any info on RAW shockies. Interested in hearing people's opinions on this Thanks in advance.

I have a 2001 hilux bin over a lot of rough corrugated stuff and still no need to change the shockies. People buy toyota because they expect the best so why do they look to after market shockies?
I will have to change
mine one day I guess so I would like to know the answer to this person's question too.

Obee, pleased to hear you have had a good run out of your shockies. I had one shock replaced under warranty just after 50 000km and now at 90 000 some of the rest aren't far behind the failed shocko. On my previous 98 model hilux i repaced the rear shocks at 60 000 (leaking oil)

Pete
Put a set of OME's on the truck before we did oour trip last year. 15,000km of rough tracks, desert, and corrugations. We loved it, and so did the shockers.
No probs and a 2 year guarantee, cant go wrong !
Cheers

Hmmm same vehicle, over 130K and OK so far. A fair bit of that was over corrugations, sand and station paddocks so i can't really complain about the factory shocks LOL
Like obee, interested in the responses.
