Looking forward to attending the Caravan and camping show in Perth for the first time. It is in two weeks time. Can anyone recommend a good camping spot nearby? Within 30 mins or so or close to train.

I would reccomend Karrinyup Waters Resort
467 North Beach Rd. Ph. 94476665
It is a very well set up caravan park with cabins also available.About 20 mins. drive to the showgrounds and close to bus services and shopping center.

Yes, Karrinyup Waters is good, but book ASAP particularly if you want a powered site. Unpowered should be easier to get.

There is also Carine Gardens Caravan Park ,just around the corner from Karrinup Waters on Old Balcatta road.
Both are close to the railway line but our railway stations are 6klms apart.
Warwick station is about 2 klms from these caravan parks, you should be able to get a bus there.

Actually thats a long term park with no short term (or even long term) spots. All filled with transportables, complete with gardens and carports - I can almost see them when I look over my back fence.

Cheers

There'll be a few vacant caravans and tents at the show so why not just squat... LoL.

it does seem like a camping show should offer camping spots :)
