Hi all,
I have just finished reading a good book about early Australia called "Outback Pioneers" by Evan McHugh. It is a series of stories telling of early development of the outback and mentions people we have all heard of and
places we have been. Good to take to read around the campfire.

Hi Ian
Another Australian Author you may enjoy is Peter Watt, he is a modern writer, but his tales are based in SW Qld around the early settlers.
Cry of the Curlew is the first in the series of five. He builds fabulous characters you can't wait to read more about.
He has also written another two called Papua & Eden, set around WW1 & WW2 in Papua New Guinea, also highly recommended.
Congratulation of the up coming 40th, we have made 28 and think that's pretty good.
Regards
Michael & Suellen Wills
