Purchased a rear 2nd hand Wheel Carrier for my HJ80. Turned up but is missing the main mounting Bracket. Its a Kaymar Wheel Carrier and its the main mounting plate to the chassis I am looking for.

Anyone got one in their shed that is looking for a loving home.

Cheers
Wayne

Wayne,
Usually they mount on the Kaymar bar which is a replacement for the whole rear bumber bar and towbar. Have one on my LC100. It has axle stubs on each corner and the carrier drops on to it with a castle nut to keep it in place.

After thought
There is a picture which shows my LC100 with one carrier mounted. I only have 2 on for big trips in remote areas.

Do you need the bracket for a left hand carrier or right hand side carrier ? They are available from Kaymar as a spare part but be warned the price is almost a years beer money , be sure to specify L or R AND the small mounting plates that have the captive nuts that go inside the chassis , ...

Yer I know quoted $430 From Kaymar.
I am looking for the RHS. However there is some good news The bloke I purchased it from has still got his HJ80 and he looked under the vehicle and the bracket is there. He is going to remove it and send to me. So fingers crossed all should be ok.
