Just had a huge hail storm at home here at Blampied in Vic, feel for anybody out camping in the area, hail up to about 15 mm in diameter, ground white with hail, strong winds and heaps of rain afterwards, Rhys.

Ha ha.....
I have a 2007 FXST. Wish I had a dog like yours. We have two dogs, but they look more like walking ugg boots...not good for security.

Has eased now here at Bacchus Marsh, total 56mm.
We had 45mm in about 15mins around 2 o'clock, most of it hail from pea to marble size.
The roar in the gullies had to be heard to be believed. The dams are all still overflowing.
Hail blocked the spouts so not much the tanks caught very little..........
Haven't seen such a downpour in about 20 years here, just north of town.

Yep tell me about it the rain was great, wife came home from work in Melton said should of seen the hail they were the size of golf balls. I thought she was exaggerating i said have you got any dents in your car.
Answer NO.
Went out had a look yep roof, bonnet, boot and tops of guards. (not much smaller than golf balls).
Got on the phone to insurance co. waited 20 min. All done now need to find a repairer.

Hope my Mum is OK. She's 75 and travels in a 6 berth Winnebago and is currently near Omeo. Is that in the storm area?

Wow, what a storm. Have lost the right hand side of my Hilux and Landcruiser 100 series. So many dents I suspect the cars are almost write off's. Cannot see how you could repair dents in the roof and A frames , they have been obliterated. We are in Lysterfield and all the cars and houses have been smashed to pieces, glass everywhere, trees stripped bare. Solar pool heating lines totally detsroyed, 2 of my Hilux ROH Mage wheel centres smashed to pieces, windscreens decimated, the list goes on. I don't believe Melbourne has ever seen anything like this in the last 50 years or so?

Yeah, its not good is it. We also live in Lysterfield and are currently up at our farm in Mansfield packing up to head back early. We have just sold our Lysterfield house as we are relocating to Adelaide. Had a call last night from a neighbour saying all of the front windows upstairs and downstairs are smashed. They cannot see the damage to the roof yet and can't get in the house. My Patrol was parked out the front and has all the windows gone. SES were in the street last night but wouldn't tarp the front of our house because we were not there to give them permission - not really happy with that! Neighbour said there are plenty of worse houses in the street though, so thinking we are pretty lucky. At least nobody got hurt.
