Don't quite see the point ... if it's only about red light cameras.

Not sure about you but I don't get my jollies having a bulk truck and dog full of gravel wiping the paint off my bull bar as they bolt through a red light.

Gaol the bastards I say...Rosco

Nope - in they are dual speed and red light camera's.

And in Vic if your 3k over the posted limit your gone.

My mate who hasn't had a fine in 15 yrs has copped 3 recently - 64, 65 and 84.

Bloody rude revenue raising!

They are a real bastardo, the new cameras are combination red light - orange 'runner' camera as well as being normal speed cameras all the time. And i wonder why i pushed hard to get cruise on the new work ute............not to mention the western ring road fiasco.

By the way , The mobile camera contractors have added to their fleet of navara and hyundai santa fe's and are now also using new commodore sedans with infa red cameras on the front bumper , you can't see any camera gear on the dash - BUT they are DEAD EASY to spot - They have a caravan style 240v power socket with the lift up cover on the back bumper !!! This unit was spotted on the highway up near Shepparton. Good luck everyone, see ya Brad.Life is short- but there's always time for a yarda.

The future? EVERY light pole etc will have cameras.... more probably every speed restrictions sign and traffic light will "talk" to a transponder [like e-tag] and control your speed. No problems then. Might even be a safer place... the road. Royce www.funshow.com.au
