Well,
we posted a hundred and one questions about Isuzu d-max's a few months ago and recieved a lot of good
feedback so went ahead and ordered one.
Picked it up 2 weeks ago and started to run it in as per manufacturers specs, loosened up at around 700km's.
Died at 1088km's.
Looks like the fuel pump maybe, goes to stealership tomorrow to be fixed under warranty.
Now to the other d-Max owners - DON'T PANIC! talking to the RAC bloke and the tilt truck driver, this is not a common thing for the D-Max...
We will keep you posted with the problem and what sort of service we recieve just for a bit of info if any one else has a problem with theirs.
Cheers, Keith

As they say "Excreta Occurs " :-(
Sorry you got a dud but it happens.
I was driving
mine ( Rodeo ) through
Melbourne yesterday afternoon past a few floating luxes' and Audis it was not a pretty sight.
I was one of the few cars that did not have problems with the deep water crossings around Southbank !
A few of the photos are on my flickr site :

We are fine we just made it under cover with seconds to spare, the storm came out of nowhere lots of people soaked and battered with hailstones.
it was very lucky there were not more injuries or even deaths.
I saw one photo from the Moomba festival of about 50 people sheltering under a large tree, not a good place to be during a thunderstorm with lightning all round.
Sorry to hijack this thread !

mazcan Glad to see you at last agree about Global climate change having real effects of the weather patterns at last.
The good thing about the Rudd tax plan is it actually does something unlike the Abbott plan to raise taxes to pay women to have more babies, how Catholic can a government get !
I know what tax I would rather pay for and it is not the baby one :-)
Good to see you on our side at last anyway.
I think we have hijacked this thread enough so I will not bother with replying any more here.

Well, lots of moderation there - we are naughty
young lads, aren't we?
Please excuse my SLIGHTLY offensive but other wise Australian style of speech.
I shall MODERATE my use of these slang terms in future and perhaps place a plum in my mouth to achieve the correct sound.

hi stumly1
yes and i will have to do likewise
but i cant follow the moderators inconsistancy
the guy at the top of this thread uses the slang word buggerboggedagain for his title which is excepted .
but when i used the term b/s they have found reason to moderate me i dont and cant see any difference as both bugger and b/s are aussie slang terms
so what tha! ??????goes on here??????and i suppose now that term will be moderated????
and i've read straight out swear words in the friday funnies on several occasions that aren't noticed or dont get moderated so the inconsistancy is wide and varied
cheers
and i better go stand in the corner again- te he lol
