Been seriously wet Michael , but mixed in with hot sunshine nearby at Yarck.

For the first time in twenty years (really) the track to our property was graded last week. Its now slick and dangerous but flat and wide , cars all over the place , we had several in vans / utes sliding around unable to get back home, mud everywhere , two or three small accidents , fortunately I carry chains and needed lockers as well to get to some places , but scary for almost summer.

Left for quick trip to melbourne to-night and went thru that major storm near Yea , then it cleared up and we hit it again in Bayswater (eastern suburb) , used 4wd for first time in a while on city streets so I have some idea how it was.

Nearby friends had much hail damage including windscreen broken on car but our other car which was out in the open survived , so all round the state I think there will be lots of reports of exciting times, hope you made it thru without damage.
