There is a track from Sandy Blight
Junction to Kalipima
native Well. Is there a track from Kalipima
Native Well to
Nirrippi settlement. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers

Yes there is a track that goes from Sandy Blight
Junction to Nirripi. I'm not sure about the
native well though.
The top part of the track is a big wide dirt freeway. The bottom half wends its way along swales and over dunes in a most indirect fashion.
You need the permission of the TOs to leave Newhaven and go to Nirripi (and beyond). This can take ages if you go through the normal channels.

George, I don't have any first hand info on the track - but on google earth there is a clear track that goes roughly east paralleling the dunes for about 45 kms before heading roughly NNE to
Nirrippi.
Hope this helps.
PS - if you have a good quality graphics card in your PC, Google earth is a great exploration tool when teamed up with OziExplorer.

Yes, there is a track that we travelled in 2004. It is heavily used by the
locals between Nirripi and
Kintore, very corrugated and apart from the area around Kalipima
Native Well not very interesting.
Cheers

Thanks to everyone for the info. The track is quite clearly shown on Google Earth. Thanks for that. We are just looking for an alternative way back to Stuart HW where we head further North. Cheers
